On the evening of Monday, June 5, 2023, Queens Botanical Garden (QBG), celebrated its annual Rambling Rose Gala. Gala guests “rambled” through the Rose Garden on a special tour, met our Growing Justice interns and participated in a take-home craft, indulged at food stations, and crossed their fingers for a raffle drawing. The evening honored Pauline Huang, QBG Ambassador, former QBG Board Chair, and founder of QBG’s Taiwan: A World of Orchids exhibition with the Rose Gala Award in recognition of her significant contributions to the Garden.
Rambling Rose Gala contributions help sustain QBG’s colorful flowers, innovative programs, and environmental education workshops, and give our community a place to heal in nature.
