August 24 to September 22
Included in Garden Admission
Embark on a journey through the vibrant streets of Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Manhattan, and the Bronx within Mr. Flower Fantastic’s unique community garden. Inspired by the iconic yellow taxi cab, this floral sculpture celebrates the diversity, tenacity, imagination, and brilliance of the people and cultures that move and thrive in our city.

Mr. Flower Fantastic / “MFF” (Queens, NY) remains anonymous but his mask and gloves are not solely a disguise. Although allergic to his art, he continues to expand people’s perception of nature and foster cultural impact through floristry.
His creative works in floral sculpture, set design, and ceramics have cultivated a dedicated following and several collaborations with industry leading brands in fashion (Louis Vuitton: LV200), film and television (Netflix: You People), philanthropic and corporate partners (Nike, Jordan Brand, Fenty, Diageo North America, Emerson Collective), and collectable art partnerships (NTWRK, Messi Brand, Microsoft). His most recent floral sculpture was exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum (Brooklyn, New York) in accordance with the Spike Lee Exhibit: Creative Sources (2023-2024).
MFF’s mantra of giving more than one takes from the earth is reflected in his initiatives. He serves as a voice for sustainable solutions for underserved communities, teaching kids and families about the importance of safeguarding our environment and healthy eating (Seeds The City Needs).
Queens Botanical Garden is open on Labor Day, Monday, September 2. Free admission will be provided all day courtesy of MTV Video Music Awards airing LIVE on September 11 at 8PM ET.
