Visit the Garden with your group or classroom to explore the wonders of nature up close! While here, you may visit the honeybee hives at the Bee Garden, go birdwatching in the Arboretum, or spend time enjoying the many scents of the Herb Garden – and so much more.

Tours

Guided Garden Tour

Duration: 1 hour
Capacity: Up to 20 participants
Cost: $225

Visit the Garden with a guide. Our permanent and seasonal collections

Add-Ons

Customize your tour and create a dish garden for an additional $100. In addition to a guided tour, your visit will culminate with the making of your very own garden-in-a-dish to take home.

Reservations require advance notice to accommodate add-on activities.

Dish Garden

Nature Art with Plant Pigments
Duration: 1.5 hours total
Capacity: Up to 20 participants
Cost: $325

Self-Guided Tour*

Duration: As long as needed – at least one hour is recommended.
Capacity: Up to 30 participants, plus four chaperones. If the number of participants exceeds this limit, please schedule additional tours.
Cost: $65

Explore Queens Botanical Garden at your own pace and investigate the specific exhibit areas that complement your needs and interests. Cost comes with 10 discovery field guides, pencils, and one QBG tote bag per group. If you would like additional discovery guides for all participants, you may purchase more for an extra $25.

Optional Seed Planting Kit Add-On: One kit includes enough supplies for 30 participants to plant flower or bean seeds. The fee is $25 per group. Kits can be picked up at visitor building and activity must be completed offsite, after your visit.

*Not available on Mondays when we are closed to the public.

Covid Protocol

🌱 Face masks are required for program participants and staff while indoors.
🌱 We will practice social distancing between students, staff, and the public whenever possible.
🌱 We do not have a designated covered outdoor area nor an indoor cafeteria. We do have prepared sandwiches and salads available for purchase in our gift shop. Weather permitting, your group may eat lunch in our Crabapple Grove, which is an open space, ideal for a picnic.
