Compost Crafts: Wildflower Seed Balls

Included with Garden admission

Make wildflower seed balls using compost made at QBG. Wildflower seed balls can be tossed in tree pits, gardens, and less loved lots to sow native flowering plants. Suggested for all ages 3+.
Presented by NYC Compost Project Hosted by Queens Botanical Garden.

Drop-in. While supplies last.

***While the event is free, Garden admission is to be paid at Garden entry. Admission April through October: Adults – $6, Seniors (age 62+) – $4, Students with ID – $4, Children (ages 4 to 12) – $2, Children (3 and under) – FREE, Members – FREE.

TIP:
Spend the day at the Garden! Visit the Visitor & Administration Building Gallery to see “In Full Bloom,” featuring three artists presenting work inspired by the shape and form of flowers and bodies in nature. Be sure to check out QBG’s “What to See, What to Do” guide for where to find notable plants out in the Garden.
