Wellness at the Garden: Mindful Movement with UrbanYoga Foundation
Connect and flow through this practice of mindful movements through breath and sound to still the mind and liberate the body.
The People’s Practice™ by UrbanYoga is an integration of Kemetic and Hatha with Tao healing arts. These ancient methods employ breath, sound and movement to still the mind and liberate the body. Connect and flow through this practice of mindful movement based on the foundations of geometric progression and remember your indigenous nature within. The People’s Practice™ develops attention to individual needs while encouraging the support of a holistic community.
Urban Yoga Foundation is a community-centered wellness organization offering mindfulness, movement, breathwork, nature-based practices, and healing. Through The People’s Practice, it supports schools, workplaces, educators, and communities with accessible programs that promote whole-person well-being.
Founded by Ghylian Bell, the organization creates inclusive spaces that build resilience, connection, and collective healing. The UYF staff are some of the best wellness educators and stewards of the communities they serve, with years of experience in their fields.
