Join artist Sarah Field Sonnenberg for a hands-on cyanotype workshop inspired by her solo exhibition in our Visitor & Administration Building, The Color of Sunlight. Participants will create unique sun prints by combining botanical materials gathered from the Queens Botanical Garden with portrait transparencies provided by the artist. Using sunlight as the printing process, attendees will layer flowers, leaves, and facial imagery to create beautiful blue-and-white compositions that explore the connection between people and nature. This workshop is suitable for beginners and families and encourages creativity, reflection, and experimentation while celebrating the beauty of the garden.
