This year Queens Rising launches “Queens Scene,” a performing arts series created to aim the spotlight on the extraordinary talent living and working in our borough.

Gina D’Soto is a singer-songwriter, composer, and arranger born and raised in Havana, Cuba. Her sound blends jazz, soul, fusion, and Cuban traditions.

Jennah Vox is a singer from Queens with a sound that’s a cross between Adele and Amy Winehouse. She draws her influence from neo-soul and spoken word.

Queens Symphony Orchestra is the borough’s only professional orchestra, and the oldest and largest professional arts organization in Queens. Their chamber ensemble present concerts throughout Queens.
