Pohela Boishakh Community Art Workshop

Join the Bangladesh Institute of Performing Arts (BIPA) and learn how to make masks for Bengali New Year! Artist Prokriti Chattopadhyay will lead a three-hour workshop open to all ages. The group will use paper, rope, and wood to make traditional masks to be worn on the day of the Pohela Boishakh celebration at Queens Botanical Garden. This workshop takes place in the Visitor & Administration Meeting Room.
Advance registration recommended; Drop-ins welcome.
