Art in the Garden: Conocer y Compartir – We Find Each Other by Mobile Print Power

On view in the Arboretum / Meadow from July 9 through May 30, 2020, Conocer y Compartir – We Find Each Other is a series of illuminated sculptures inspired by the lampposts from the 1964 New York World’s Fair. The sculptures feature screenprinted artwork created with visitors to QBG in April 2019. The project was previously on view in Flushing Meadows Corona Park.

***While the exhibit is free, Garden admission is to be paid at Garden entry. Admission April through October: Adults – $6, Seniors (age 62+) – $4, Students with ID – $4, Children (ages 4 to 12) – $2, Children (3 and under) – FREE, Members – FREE. Admission November through March is free.

– Through August 25, go to the Visitor & Administration Building Gallery to see the “In Full Bloom” exhibit, featuring three artists presenting work inspired by the shape and form of flowers and bodies in nature. (Included with Garden admission; Drop-in.)
