Join us every third Sunday of the month at noon for a Compost Tour! Explore the only mid-scale composting site in Queens. Learn what a windrow is. You will have the opportunity to learn about small-scale setups (three-bin system, tumblers, earth machines, and a Hotbox) at our Compost Demo site. This tour is a great way to learn about community composting. If you are taking the Master Composter course, it counts as one of the required field trips.
