Join our Community Horticulture Coordinator to beautify our community by cleaning-up a neighboring plot to Queens Botanical Garden. Put your energy to good use and help us to clear a plot at the intersection of Blossom Avenue & College Point Blvd so we can plant beautiful flowers for the neighborhood to enjoy. As a reward, receive a free pass to the Garden so you can explore the beauty of QBG’s ever-changing scenery as our flowers bloom, trees grow, and community comes together.

Activities might include raking, weeding, sweeping, clearing debris and more. Participants must be able to bend and lift items that weigh 10 pounds. Dress for the weather and plan to get your hands and clothes dirty! Gloves and granolas bars provided.

HEALTH & SAFETY: Masks and gloves are required to participate. Bring an individual water bottle. Volunteers should stay 6 feet apart while working. Volunteers will be asked to complete an online health check form prior to reporting to the Garden. You should not volunteer if you are experiencing and symptoms of COVID or have been exposed to someone who has.
