Art in the Garden: Opening Reception for Shapes of the Garden
Meet artist Chemin Hsiao at the opening reception for the exhibition, Shapes of the Garden.
Shapes of the Garden is a series of woodblock prints inspired by the ever-changing shapes and colors of Queens Botanical Garden. Based on the Japanese ukiyo-e Mokuhanga (Woodblock Print) tradition, Chemin Hsiao’s prints capture the seasonal transition throughout the Spring and Fall of 2021.
FREE. Registration required. Walk-ups welcome upon capacity.

Note: Showing proof of vaccination and photo ID is required to enter the Visitor & Administration Building, where the Gallery is located, except for individuals who are ineligible for vaccination.
