ANTHOLOGIA is a durational exhibition by sTo Len that has grown over the course of 6 months while he was an artist in residence at the Queens Botanical Garden. This closing reception is the culmination of Len’s process-based work which features a series of prints called anthotypes that are created with photosensitive pigments extracted from plants and flowers he harvested from the garden. Using both the QBG historical archive and his own photographs, Len’s images create a non-linear historical timeline awash in chlorophyll soaked imprints that celebrate the relationship between the plants, the public, and the workers who manage the garden year round.
