The renowned Amernet String Quartet, Ensemble-in-Residence at Florida International University in Miami, will present a program of American music for string quartet at Queens Botanical Garden, including works by the late New York composer Steven R. Gerber, the Queens Premiere of a new quartet by former Queens College music faculty member Judith Lang Zaimont. This performance will be free to the public, during QBG’s free hours from 4 – 5 pm on September 10, 2025 in the auditorium. The performance is made possible with the generous support of The Steven R.
