The Queens Botanical Garden Compost team offers presentations, tours, info tables, speakers, and courses to the community to learn about and practice composting.

Information Tabling
Do you have an event that could use educational literature or demonstration on composting? Our representatives can introduce your attendees to compost and the many resources to learning more about composting programs.
Presentations & Tours
Interested in learning more about composting for your group? Request a FREE presentation or onsite compost facility tour for your group or organization. Presentations can take place in person or virtually, choose from an array of topics. The compost facility tour takes place in person at QBG (ranging from 5-30 participants).
Available year-round depending on staff availability.
Technical Assistance
Build and improve your site’s compost systems! We can guide you in creating action plans, compost processing and building, troubleshooting problems, and more.
Technical assistance is intended for community compost sites, community gardens, and schools.
Compost & Browns Delivery & Pick Up
Does your organization need compost for garden beds, wood chips for street trees, or a browns mix for your composting system? Request compost or browns for pick up from the Garden or delivery to your site.
Delivery and pick-up are intended for groups and organizations only, not for individual households.
