Dance in the Garden: SHED by XiaoChuan Xie

QBG and Queens Council on the Arts present the world premiere performance of SHED, a new work by QCA’s Artist Commissioning Program Awardee in Choreography Chuan Xie. In SHED, Chuan, a Chinese-born immigrant artist who came to this country for its freedom of expression, uses dance, sculpture, costumes, and light to reveal hidden textures and colors, creating dialogue on the collective migrant experience.
