This body of water is frequented by White Egrets and Blue Herons (pictured here).Early spring ephemerals grow in early spring to absorb water in the bioswales and prevent soil erosion.Rainwater is circulated through the cleansing biotope and is filtered and cleaned by plants and soil.The fountain and waterways flow with rainwater that has been collected and filtered by the roots of native wetland plants.During Arbor Fest, children made wildflower seed balls and launched them into the bioswale to germinate native flowers for the summer.
